When you sign up with us, you'll be asked to provide your email address. The same happens when you tell us that you have moved into a property we already supply.

This email address is used to create your So Energy online account. This usually happens very quickly after you register, but it can take a few hours.

We'll send you an email once your account is ready with an invitation link to activate your account. You need to click on this link. If the link expires, don't worry - here's how to generate a new one.

Clicking on that link allows you to set a password to access your online account. The login username will be your email address.

Once you create a password for the first time, your energy account will be active and you'll be able to log in. You can always reset your password to your email address if you forget it. 

If you just signed up, you will be able to see the progress of your switch within your online account and provide an opening meter reading. It usually takes 5 working days to switch to us. After this, your online account will be fully set up.
