How does refer a friend work?

  1. First thing to do is login to your So Energy online account where you will be presented with the online account homepage. From here, scroll down to the refer a friend button. 
  2. From the refer a friend screen, you will be presented with your referral link. You can copy this link to share with your friends or press the share button to share your link through all common messaging services.
  3. Your referred friend must sign up by clicking your Personal Link and completing the registration form. If they sign up to So Energy in another way, they will no longer be eligible for the Refer a Friend bonus.
  4. Done! And your friend can start referring their friends as soon as they begin switching to us.


When will my friend and I receive our £50 bonus?

Once we are the supplier for the friend that you have referred to us, you will both receive a £50 credit to your So Energy account. 

The credit will show on your next bill and your friend's first bill from us. It will show in the balance breakdown section of your bill under "Refer-a-friend referrer" with the date the credit was applied.
