Sometimes, when providing manual meter readings via your online account, you may provide the wrong number. Don't worry, this article will tell you what to do in that case. 

What to Do?

The system will not let you provide a meter reading which is lower than the current reading, so most wrong readings will be higher than the actual number. If the difference is small (less than 10 units for example) you can choose to simply wait until your meter clocks over to the right number before providing another reading. There is no need to contact us in this instance.

However, if the difference is higher, then please take a photo of your meter. Go to your online account and try to add in the correct meter reading. The system will not let you, but it will give you the option to upload your photo you've taken. Once you've done that, one of our advisors will correct the reading or let you know if we need anything else. 


How to Avoid This Problem?
